Personally, I still think the machines taking over is a bigger and more immediate threat than global warming.

Skynet was supposed to go operational tonight. Instead of machines taking over, we have the very real threat of global warming.

The other day was the modified Skynet creation date for the TV show. The movie Skynet creation date was back in 1997.
I'm rather looking forward to the machines taking over and getting us the hell off this rather depressing death trap of a planet or at least fixing the place up.
A planet without strategically placed cold fusion reactors, a planet where you have to kill other living things for food, a planet where people and things sicken and die, a planet with house dust.
Is this a home or the setting for a really screwed up horror story?
In my opinion the architect should be banned until he can prove he can build a world fit for habitation.
Wow, someone's glass is down to the last sip!
It isn't that bad. May not be as good as some imaginary utopia you can envision in your head (non-sense bs like cold fusion and global veganism), but it is actually pretty awesome and amazing.
Vegans eat plants...the bastards.

Well... I am glad we had this conversation...

As I keep repeating to my vegetarian (or vegan) friends, vegetables are living beings too, they're just easier to catch.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!
"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005
"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM
"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

I just wish I could remember who I stole that quote from.
It was in Kevin Brennan's 'Vegetarians' routine, I don't know if that is the prime origin but it became widely quoted after that (more often than not people passing on from someone else passing it on I imagine).

Ha! My sig worthy quote wasn't stolen! It was a product of my own technology paranoia.

Technology paranoia or global warming non-paranoia?
