It takes me 8.5 hours to get to my precious little off the grid hidey hole in TN, which I still consider fairly close. Guess distance is relative. I am a pretty heavy road tripper, so I am used to ridiculously long trips.

Hey my name is walkingdork. It's horrible name I know but 5 years ago I came up with Walking Dead - Dead + nerd = walkingdork. Instead it just looks like I'm a hiking enthusiast.
I'm 28 and I have two daughters (3 and 4). I have a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology (which is nearly useless in the job market) and I've worked at a halfway house for the mentally ill for 8 years. Oh, and I live in Wisconsin.
