Hobo with a shotgun.
I could have done with a bit less gore but I still really enjoyed it.
the 2006 made for TV Doctor Who movie
I think you mean 1996.
It definitely has a lot of flaws, I'll grant. Sylvester McCoy probably shouldn't have been in it, the kid character is an idiot, the Time Lords sending The Master to be executed by the Daleks makes no sense, The Doctor is most certainly not half-human, and the Eye of Harmony is supposed to be something that was on Gallifrey, not in the TARDIS. But Paul McGann's portrayal was so good that I'm prepared to forgive a lot because of it, and (I may be painting a target on my back that says 'philistine' for this, so sue me) the Americanism of it was actually an interesting change of pace.

"the eagle" i was very impressed with this movie. rarely do we get movies anymore not laden with cgi and fresh out of acting school teens who would not know shit about character involvement. also "hobo with a shotgun" have to say 1 of the best imitation grindhouse films since ever. so many low budget film makers have jumped on the grindhouse bandwagon in recent years and very few have pulled off anything worth a watch. "hobo with a shotgun clearly made the grade. and 1 other that comes to mind is "lonewolf samurai avenger" aka"blind wolf" on another note a movie very few people know about that blew my mind was "mongol" a russian made retelling of the life of ghengis khan. i highly recommend this movie.
believe in the ball and throw yourself!
Dreamscape.
I just watched Dreamscape a few months back. Cheesy fun.

Yeah, I did mean 1996, typo.
It was also really annoying they went the "clueless alien" route with the Doctor's character. I know they use the excuse of his regeneration for this, but part of the fun of Doctor Who is that he is a 900 year old super genius, no one wants to see him running around being a clueless idiot. I guess that makes it hard for me to think much of McGann's portrayal of the Doctor.
28 weeks later. To my surprise I enjoyed it more than the first. And it has one of the most bad ass scenes I've ever seen an a film. The helicopter scene.

A few posts ago I did a mini-review of this film.
It sucked.

Well, don't beat yourself up about it. I'm sure your review wasn't THAT bad.

Really? I thought it was meh. But the opening was really cool, I'll admit.

oooh. Frink, your losing rep left and right.
I don't know maybe I was just in the right mood but I cared for the characters and the story was different than most zombie movies so, yeah.
