It was a difficult build because the model kit had so many sections that were far from screen accurate, but i think i've got it accurate enough to hold up against the studio models. I've even added a form of mechanism into it so that it will give the impression that it is walking without having to resort to stop motion, which will be good enough for the fleeting moments this model will be seen.

It's really neat to know that even though the AT-AT model replacement is only going to be seen briefly, that the details will be accurate in these shots. Nice going on that once again adywan, and great preview pics!

As far as other elements being re-built Matticon, in addition to the ones you mentioned, I seem to recall that a replacement 'Shield Generator' and 'inside of Asteroid Slug's mouth' are also being done. And I also seem to recall that a 'Hoth rebel trench' is being planned too!

There's certainly plenty of neat stuff mounting up to be covered for the behind-the-scenes extras disc. :)
