Awesome.
My daughter doesn't quite have the attention span for the whole movie yet, but she's a big fan of the music from both that one and Caper.

I watched Demolition Man.
I also had a realization while watching it. Spartan was frozen in 1996 unthawed in 2032. HE HAS ZERO KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPECIAL EDITIONS OR, THE PREQUELS. Due to the censorship in that era he probably can't watch them anymore anyway. Simon Phoenix and, Cocteau actions made it so that in the end Spartan still thinks of the Star Wars films as just a great trilogy of films... He is the ultimate original trilogy fan without even knowing it.
Just something I thought about.

I'd genuinely forgotten what a great movie it is. I was a huge Muppet fan as a kid growing up in the 80s. I was 9 when Jim Henson died and I remember bawling my eyes out sitting on the carpet watching the news (on the kind of TV you had to turn a clickity-clackity dial to change channels). They might as well have said Kermit The Frog died.
Seeing The Muppet Movie now as an adult, I can safely say it is an absolute classic.

On this visit, he told me that ALL sci-fi is stupid because, as stated above, it's too "unrealistic".
He also went on to say that the only people who like sci-fi are "mentally deficient".
After insulting my intelligence, the rest of the visit was pretty awkward.
I've heard that same kind of statement from two people at least, one of them was my Art teacher. And it always blew my mind how much sense it didn't make. I'd hear that sentence being uttered and I'd stare, thinking "What?.... Wait, what?.......No, wait, what??" I never know what to retort. But maybe that's okay, otherwise I should memorize a site like this: http://www.moviecliches.com/
and explode it in the offender's face in an endless logorrhea.

I still only know most of the people who have cameos in The Muppet Movie as "people who have cameos in The Muppet Movie".

Yet another "make Frink feel old" post. :-(
On a related note, I think The Great Muppet Caper is really underrated.
Least favorite Muppet movie. Not sure why, it has its moments...TV's Frink said:

You liked Manhattan better?
...
You are now dead to me.
Rewatched Adywan's Star Wars Revisited with my parents and siblings. It was their first time seeing it and they were shocked (in a good way) at all the changes made. They all really enjoyed it.

I dislike them both equally. I liked Muppets from Space better.TV's Frink said:

You are now slightly less dead to me.

I don't think I've seen Muppets From Space *shame*
EDIT: It's now in my queue.
It's not that great, I just get more references from it because its newer.TV's Frink said:

I've only seen Muppets Take Manhattan, and I don't know what Frink's complaining about. It's great!
There is no lingerie in space…
C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.
Who said I was complaining? It was fine, it's just not nearly as good as the first two.
I'm not sure why but the Muppet movies rate the same to me as the SW trilogy
Star Wars / The Muppet Movie 9/10
TESB / The Great Muppet Caper 10/10
ROTJ / Muppets Take Manhattan 7/10
Muppets from Space gets maybe a 6/10 from me. It has too many new Muppets (like Pepe) for it to compare with the originals.
At least Caper doesn't have "It's Time For Saying Goodbye". Though it does feature the Rats, who are awesome. Did Rizzo premiere in Manhattan?
EDIT: No he didn't. http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Rizzo_the_Rat

You barely notice him in Caper.
My least favorite is The Muppet's Wizard of Oz.
What a complete pile of puppet-shit.
I just had a mental image of Poonocchio singing "I've Got No Strings".
Morning Glory.
Before that, Clockwork Orange.
Never seen Muppets Take Manhattan, but I have seen In Space. It's main saving grace is PEPE THE KING PRAWN!
The Muppet Christmas Carol is the one I remember the most. It's odd, but even a version with puppets of this story will make me cry.
A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
