TPM will/should have the digital Yoda that's been bandied about.ThiefCobbler4ever said:
What does to the Blu-Ray set has to offer according to ThiefCobbler4ever:
-The 6 films in their DVD Versions. No alterations, no changes, no nothing.
-However, color correction (even though I have no problem with the transfers we have now) could be applied and the lightsabers fixed.I will be very surprised if this happens. I will buy this set if the "collars" are fixed.
-Transfer quality looking better, sharper, and highest in quality, it will blow the DVD transfers away. That's a given.
-Extras from all DVD releases, Laserdisc releases, VHS releases and anywhere else. Every last one.Doesn't seem Lucas' style. Especially since they might include things that aren't exactly true anymore.
-The deleted scenes from ANH (that we seen time after time) brilliantly restoredI would believe, as hurtful as it is to have deleted scenes from a cut that doesn't exist anymore.
-Classic documentaries finally making the official digital debut.See above.
-New extras can't hurt either. It will probably be all-new extras.
-Hopefully that some of the money we paid goes to do a proper and tender, loving, caring restoration to the theatrical versions of the OT (and maybe the PT).More like it will go towards the 3Dification of the rest of the prequels, which will drop off before the OT due to "lack of interest".
-Also the possibility of bringing the Ewok Adventures and the Clone Wars Micro-Series to Blu-Ray individually. after the Saga release.I'm sure those were mastered in SD, so a BD release would add nothing but more episodes per disc.
