Well its happening right now. It seems that Rumsfeld and his sidekick generals cant answer one simple question. The senators keep asking them relatively easy straightforward questions but they cant seem to answer them. For instance: They asked Rumsfeld what is the general instructions of a guard, and he just curtails the question with blabber. One senator asked one of the generals "When did you first see the (torture) pictures?". General: "Uh....uh....sir...the investigation....first learned about the pictures...uh.." Senator: "I'm asking when did YOU first see the pictures?" General: "Uh....sir....I first saw the pictures....the...last week of march." Senator: "And who did you first report the pictures to?" General: "Uh...sir...the investigation..". etc...
Overall they're making Rumsfeld look really stupid and embarrased and they keep bring up the possibility of his impeachment and saying "Many people have called for your resignation."
And just a few minutes ago Rumsfeld admitted that there was more video that hasn't been released to the public yet. Rumsfeld: "Sir if that video was released to the public it would be devastating. I watched it last night and it just made me sick."
MSNBC also said that protestors interrupted the hearing earlier, but I didn't get to catch it.
