I don't know if I've ever mentioned it or not, since September of 2009, I have been a member of my church's choir. Last Sunday the choir director asked if I wouldn't mind doing a solo for the Good Friday service. I am going to be singing "The Old Rugged Cross". I have never sung a solo before. I never thought I had a good enough voice to sing a solo. Just two years ago, if you had told me I'd be member of my church's choir and would be doing a solo, I would have told you that you were nuts. I do not mind saying I am very nervous about this.
