I can understand that, a lot of people were turned off by Kid A and the ones that followed because they are definitely not normal rock albums.  In fact, there is hardly any guitar, and when there is it's really screwed up and morphed, as is Thom Yorke's voice. 

But I highly highly recommend In Rainbows.  Released 10 years after OK Computer, it's sort of a companion piece.  Really mellow, beautiful tracks, as opposed to the pounding synth of Hail to the Thief.  Check it out if you get the chance and have the desire.

And The Bends, the album they released before OK Computer, is pure rock & roll and amazing.
