How do you know it's older? Maybe I just take better care of my clothes than you do. =P
In a related story, I'm from the South. It's something of a not-so-secret shame of mine. Well, I was born in Chicago, but I grew up in the South. That said, I don't speak with a Southern dialect (that I'm aware of at any rate), and I wouldn't touch "y'all" with a ten-foot-pole. But on the way up to the con, we stopped at a McAlister's Deli in Illinois for dinner, and I had to ask for a to-go box. When the server returned, I turned to thank her, but I guess I decided to get slightly more creative and instead said, "Much obliged." I then had to spend the next thirty seconds having to explain to her what that meant, and at the end I'm still not sure she ever got it...
