You're welcome. Totally intentional was my effort to prove your point...

But I would say that such observations are not only a matter of minds playing tricks. To my ears, it sounds like the same exact audio played twice. I'm not a film editor and don't usually watch Star Wars with so critical an eye/ear - save for the PT. To your credit, I don't think your edits make the redundancy more obvious and on a casual viewing I would just as likely not take notice as in the original. I do hope you are able to devote time to your edit.

A problem the current versions of ROTJ have and many mockups too is the Death Star always looks so tiny (I know it's only small moon sized but the smaller it looks in relation to it's surroundings the smaller it feels).

It already looks fragile because it's not finished but showing it so small in frame diminishes the threat it supposed to represent.

The Rebels only major victory was narrowly avoiding getting killed blowing up the first one and here the Empire is topping off the kicking they gave the Rebels in ESB by resurrecting their big kill.

Personally I'd frame almost all shots of it so it fills much of the screen (creating the impression that it's back bigger than ever and if the Rebels don't get it first it's final victory for the bad guys).

Endor is a forest moon but I've noticed a lot of green seas in mockups which might be fun but don't necessarily make sense (but it is an alien world so it could have green skies too).

Aggred with Bingo. ANH's framing was masterful even with its simplistic aesthetics. Deathstar covered all the screen in shots like when MF tracked witht he beam. Massive!

Watching that you are borowed 3d models from Sci-fi 3d (credits goes there) i suggest that since you have the ablity to move them in 3d space why not have different angles with more dramatic impact.

Rule of thirds, curves instead of plains,diagonal lines and forced perspectives can give the depth and the mass of the Space station.

In your shots there is no overlaping and it seems that the Stardestroyer is massive against the DS.(overlap=distance=depth. All together=plain)

Also some shots i may be wrong but look visualy right. so you can try that path :)

As quick as everything went by, I could tell a lot of the things you were trying to do, and they all seemed very interesting. Keep with it man, even if you can't right now.

Dont forget the dramatic lightning. ROTJ is terribly plain from light POV. Everything is a cheap set/prop crap.

Adding some nice dramatic mood to the death star shots like ANH did you might achieve some good "cheated" angles and new sides from the station. Besides ROTJ begs for construction close ups ;)

Those construction shots are amazing.  I look at pictures like that and think if Lucas is going to be tinkering with his movies every couple of years, this is the kind of stuff he should be thinking about putting in.

I hope this turns out amazing.

Very nice indeed.

The unfiltered farm feels more natural to me and nice to see a large looming Death Star (though it would benefit from a more defined light source).

These are actually quite nice. I need to learn 3D. Do you have to have a workhorse of a computer to do what you've done so far?

There's something that doesn't feel quite right in the sandcrawler video. Maybe in the perspective of the speeder, on in some point of the foreground.

The sandcrawler, on the other hand, matches the image without problem. thumbs up stewie!

I meant that even if perspective crashes a bit on the sand crawler, it's almost imperceptible

The speeder and that metal dish seen in the very foreground are clearly out of scale according to threepio's scale and I think that was what called my atention. You could remove them and yet be getting a great image of the lars residence. There's also something with the colour saturation between the sandcrawler and the dome, far more saturated than the vehicle, but of this things, Angel our professional illustrator could tell you better, I just don't have the means for telling what feels a little out of place with colours, I just perceive it.

Of course, don't take this as bumming, I'm just trying to help you get an unnoticiable way for introducing your changes, which are very promising.

I look forward to seeing your end product, even in  an alpha version form.  Keep us posted whenever you feel any inclination, as I feel this has some great promise.
