The So-Bad-It's-Good Thread (Unintentional and Intentional Comedy Both Allowed)

The Friedberg & Seltzer parodies, e.g. Epic Movie, or what I've seen of them, certainly apply. The gags are so bland and over-the-top, the parodies so random and poor in substance, you just GOT to love these movies :D

The crowning moment must be Wolverine's "middle claw" in Epic Movie - a GAG taken from the original X-Men movie, and made LESS FUNNY than it was there!

If this thread also includes comedy in form of intentional badness, most skits by RedLetterMedia (the Monkey Man Trilogy; the Care Boars; the Grabowskis!) capitalize and DEVOUR this trope. Takes some talent to make every gag as bland as possible, and the sequence of images and "events" so nonsensical and random, while making the viewer jump out from his seat all 5 seconds. Heh :D

The music by "medieval metal" band Manowar goes, too - the music and lyrics are incredibly cheesy, and from what I know, no one really knows whether they're serious or not. But I don't know much about those...

This thread has two purposes.

1) Post about similar movies/songs/television shows/etc.

2) Discuss The Room, Troll 2, Friday, and the other "entertainment" brought up in #1

...

And....GO!!!

I don't want to talk about those things.

At some point I lost the ability to enjoy something that's "so bad it's good."

I want to watch something good.

I used to get a kick out of "Zardoz" or "Xanadu" or direct-to-DVD sci-fi movies, but nowadays I just notice something is terrible, and stop it, hoping to find a diversion less terrible.

Because I've got enough musical heresy in my head as it is.

The first two are movies.

And all the non-love in here is bringing me down...with my pants on the ground.

EDIT: Just noticed Sluggo's link.  LOL!

on a similar note, South Park really helped Wing make a career.

to me the "so bad it's good" level of awfulness equals to torture, so I can't stand to listen or watch something I know it's bad, or something even rocks know it's bad for that matter.

I'm tricky like that.  Or is it crafty?

Now we're talking!  :-)

I want to know who the one person was who "disliked" that.

Frink: Have you seen the Zardoz trailer?  The movie itself is pretty bad, but I expected more epic badness based on the trailer.

IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!

"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM

"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Question for everyone:

How did you first discover The Room?

You know what...I don't remember.  It feels like it has always been a part of me, even though I only heard about it in the past year.

I suspect it was probably through Know Your Meme.
