From where? From a pdf that have the novel? or from my mind?

You're a smart guy, i'm sure u can figure something out.

ESB had a strange surreal dream-like sequence (the cave test) and the AOTC novel had Anakin's mum turning into glass and shattering, that could be done I imagine in a fan-edit so I imagine some of the ideas in the ROTS novel not in the theatrical cut could (with some careful thought) be translated into new scenes in a fan-edit but still have a feel consistent with the best the OT has to offer.
It would require someone with a working knowledge of the novel to isolate what as yet unused ideas work and how they could be achieved and added.
ROTS is the only novelisation of the films I haven't read so I can't really comment on the value of the material.
YEAH! MOCK UP!!!! :)
Thoughts?
looks like somebody had a lot of time one their hands
Would be far more productive cutting and pasting scenes from a novel into the visual medium...
Would it be possible to use some lines from the clone wars to give characters like Plo Koon a voice.
Certainly.....but whether you'd want to any lines or not, I dunno. We see characters like him so little that I wager most of us would like to see their council seats replaced with more OT-like bearded humans. Especially the more ridiculous of the members (Oppo Rancisis has no legs for example)
i'd trade beards for moustaches and sideburns.
some good ideas here (except the r2 one): http://fanfix.wordpress.com/2011/01/13/%E2%80%A6the-star-wars-prequels/
also, what if dagobah was the ruins of naboo? i'm not sure about it myself, but would like to consider it.
I still think Naboo should be conflated with Alderaan. It sort of turns that part of the PT into a bit of a shaggy-dog story, but it would heighten the effect of its destruction in the OT.

Why in this thread? Would make more sense here:

The idea that someone lists the bad things of a movie in a list, isnt good enough to give ideas how you can fix them? ;)

Oh I suppose....
I was watching some special features on TPM the other day and was wondering if anyone had thought about using Natalie Portman's actual voice for her scenes as the queen. There might be enough behind the scenes and trailers to find all of the lines needed.
The only line I remember is the "get to your ships" line when she isn't even dressed as queen so shouldn't have been ADR'd but was anyway (but not in the trailer, bizarrely)

I'm glad that SOB thinks i'm a simpleton. Just because i laughed at R2 kicking the crap out of the droids. And this guy gets way too literal. Its a movie for God's sake. Find something productive to do with ur time!
sigh. Bottom line, u don't like it, then don't watch it.
So I've been slowly developing an radical prequel edit idea in my head, and I think the concept is ready to share. (Who knows if I'll ever do it, though.) Features would include:
-Mixing events from all the prequels into one film of unknown length - as flashbacks (probably during The Duel) to tie them together and to add emotional depth to the duel, like an OT one.
-Naboo probably equals Alderaan.
-Obi-Wan is the main character.
-The title might refer to an interview Lucas gave shortly after the release of SW regarding the prequels, and/or the early "James Bond series" approach the saga could have taken.
-Stylistically it might ape Sergio Leone (westerns were an influence on the original films) - close ups and mismatching dialogue (both a stylistic choice and allowing for tracking dialogue from various places to refer to what I'd want it to).
-Little to no Yoda - he is a mystery for the OT (though this might be designed to be watched post-OT, or between ESB and ROTJ). And the Jedi could be edited to be more like the reclusive and/or multi-professioned Jedi the OT implied - some of the more strategic-minded ones just having come together to form a council, since the Clone Wars are so widespread.
-A title crawl, if used, would go back to an abandoned idea for ESB's crawl...
-Emphasize characters and situations from the OT whenever possible - Bail Organa and the Larses, Boba Fett, Alderaan, etc.
-Maybe Qui-Gon is Anakin's father? No virgin birth needed... but this also may screw up the Larses. But the scenes of QG and Shmi are actually pretty good, too...
-Include shots from the Clone Wars series of new-looking Y-Wings, if possible.
-Reconfigure Anakin's fall to emphasize his conscious desire for order after seeing the horrors of the Clone Wars - the poison apple/mind control dark side never really appealed to me.
I'm sure there are a couple things I forgot... I'll add them as necessary.
Does this sound worth watching/thinking about?

Actually, I think on this particular forum you'll find the consensus is, "If you don't like it, then edit it"
Yep, worth thinking American Hominid. To take your idea a little further: why not use the prequels as flashbacks and integrate them into the OT? Maybe it could work like Watchmen did, where we gather bits and pieces of the past through extended flashbacks.
