I've just finished the first three seasons of South Park. God I love this show. Can't wait to catch up with all of the seasons (already saw the last 2 seasons, tho)

So, everyone here is watching Fringe on Fridays at 9PM Eastern/8PM Central, right?  We need the ratings so we can get a fourth season, and the producers have strongly implied that this season ends on a cliffhanger!

I can't praise FRINGE enough. As I recall I wasn't really too interested in the idea when it first started and only started playing catch up as the first season was coming to a close.

more people need to watch FRINGE. I mean people loved the x-files and here is a show that started out much the same and becomes much stronger as it goes on. - and x-files ran for like 10 years.

I was watching a BSG commentary recently and they were talking about how easy it is to lose people in the audience who then go off an watch something else, or instances where people drift in and out of shows.

I find it hard to picture how people can be so fickle, I mean yes a show needs to really step up and engage and entertain you but when some people are barely paying attention it must get frustrating.

FRINGE is a fun ride and I love how even when they resort to a 'monster of the week' type story they find a way to further the overall plot of the show.

in the end, they need to wrap things up in a satisfying way, whatever happens. Lost ended poorly, BSG ended well [IMO] but people still had mixed feelings about it...

I watched the pilot of Greatest American Hero last night.

SOOOO campy.  But still lots of fun.

What really stuck out for me is the performance of William Katt who could have slid into the Luke Skywalker character pretty easily.  Of course we would have had Luke with an perm instead of the Shaun Cassidy haircut.

What I didn't remember about the show is Robert Culp's character Bill Maxwell.  While I remembered Bill as an FBI agent who always used the word 'scenario', I forgot how much Maxwell is chewing on the scenery.  I'd be surprised if a young Jim Carrey didn't see the episode and start acting that way as well.

"The World at War

A  26-episode British television documentary series (1973/74) on World War II, narrated by Sir. Laurence Olivier.

So much great historical footage. This series set the standard model for war documentaries for years to come.

Started watching Chuck from the beginning.  Never seen it before, but it's good fun.  Rather silly, but with enough serious elements to keep it well away from becoming a farce.  Adam Baldwin pretty much pwns every scene he's in.  I've been a fan since Firefly, so it's good to see more of him, and the rest of the cast ain't bad either.

I recently found out a way to help tv ratings if you don't have a nielsen box. Us Chuck fans use it to help out Chuck.

The day after you take a short quiz on the show and, your view is added. VERY IMPORTANT DO NOT CHEAT!!! That is DO NOT post the answers to the quiz on say a public message board such as this becuase, they might come across it and, throw out the quiz views from that day. Since people that might not have even watched the show might've answered the quiz. It's perfectly OK to watch your recording of the show while taking the test though.

Please help out Chuck and, I'll help out Fringe. I've never seen Fringe before but I'll start if you help out Chuck.

I have been enjoying Charlie Brooker's How Television Ruined Your Life, even if I don't entirely agree with the hypothesis suggested in the title.

Unfortunately, when I go there, all I see is "The WB can only be viewed in the United States."

It is very common nowadays to basically be segregated from American sites, especially ones that are from massive corporations that can very easily afford the extra traffic that the dreaded non-Americans bring. I hate it. And Hotspot Shield rarely works. :p
