Does anyone have a link to the disc cover art for Jambe Davar's Building Empire?  I managed to find a cover for Returning to Jedi (image of the Death Star covering the entire disc, with "Returning to Jedi" in bronze at the bottom) and would love to get hold of the matching cover for Empire, but cannot seem to find it anywhere, either on this site or elsewhere on the net (the artwork links in Jambe's posts generally appear to be dead).  Thanks in advance!

Thanks -- unfortunately fanedit.org has the disc art I described for Jedi, but not for Empire (the style I'm looking for appears to have been designed or posted by Jambe).  Anyone know where I could get the matching disc art for Empire?

You should really be thanking a buddy of mine (who doesn't post here, so I guess you can't).  I'd given him a 16GB thumb drive in exchange for some ganja when I was dry a few months ago.  I was at his apartment yesterday and went to use the thumb drive to pop a movie on it to watch in the Xbox, and lo and behold, he hadn't even touched a damn thing on it ... including those covers!

Blind, dumb luck.

Yaaaaaay

Wow ChainsawAsh, these are REALLY well done. Nice, hi-res, very crisp and clear, all that good stuff.

Thanks!  I was very upset to lose them, as I spent quite a bit of time on them.

I was at work when I saw that these were re-discovered and couldn't download, and now that I'm home the download limit of 10 has hit. Can you please re-upload?

Download limit?  Man, fuck Rapidshare.

Give me a few minutes, I'll have them up again.

Got em now. Thanks guys! (and thanks to ChainsawAsh for building them; I grew up with these)

So did I - that's why I made 'em!

And thanks, DJ, for providing an alternate upload.

Used to be that if you just uploaded anonymously there was a 10 download limit, but you could upload to a free collector's account which would remove the limit.

I'm on MU now so I don't know what has changed on RS.

I've got a set of unused covers for the Special Letterbox Collector's Edition of this VHS set from a guy who used to work for the company who printed them......they are very cool.

Thanks for uploading what you did....and thanks to DJ for the alternate link.

Cheers!!!!

Nice. Love the spine art and the cover edit (I think?) for Jedi.

Does anyone have images of the "A New Hope" logo? Not "Star Wars" and not the new prequel-esque "Episode IV" logo. The "A New Hope" logo that was used on some merchandise.

I want to make a series of covers for the original trilogy and just gathering resources at the moment. Spent a couple of hours browsing Google and Google Images, but came up empty handed.

Aiming for consistency in style across the three discs, so I need to know if I have that logo at my disposal or not.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know if this is the one you're looking for:

IIRC, there's another vintage variant out there as well.

That might work. Thanks.

I seem to remember once stumbling across one in the more traditional/common font of like Return of the Jedi or Attack of the Clones. But, that might have been entirely fan made.

And this was year's ago. So, didn't bother to save it.

Thanks!

Sounds like you're after the look of the '97 SE logos, don't know if there ever was an official logo done for ANH in that style, maybe try doing your own with the font "Distant Galaxy Outline".

Does anybody know if there was disc art that went with these DVD covers from RowMan's Ultimate Supplemental Collection?

Thanks.
