I spend more time over here...certainly, I post more over here.  Off topic is fairly dead there.

When I found out that Frink is a moderator at FE.org, I nearly had to go to the hospital from shock.

I can think of a lot of words to put in for him...don't know if many would be good, however.

what do you mean by no longer involved?   no longer involved in the running of the place or no longer involved in the place at all?

I am not sure if returning would be a good idea or not.    Boon would never approve, so if he is still there he would be very upset if whomever is now running the place lifted my ban.   I am also certain a few other members would also hate to see me return(again, I can't say that I blame them).    Also I would just be posting in off topic, and as you've said, off topic is dead there.

Reave is in charge, and there is a whole team (like eight more?) helping him.  boon is not involved in running the place, though he still posts there.

yeah,  I really don't want to upset him by trying to return.   He really wouldn't like it.

hardly that.   It began as an argument over freedom of speech.   He did not want people to criticize Jay and/or ot.com.    I disagreed and did so in a regrettable way.   I said that this isn't the first time Americans have fought Germans over the values of freedom.    It was a stupid thing to say.  He and the other Germans on the site were extremely offended.   I did apologize.  But I don't think I did it in a way that demonstrated how offensive what I said was.   I don't think I realized how offensive I was until a long time afterwards.   After that even though I was banned.   I could still get into the chatroom.   Ever after I promised to behave myself,  I entered the chatroom as a different name and said insulting things to a nice person.  A person whom had behaved as my friend.  A person whom didn't deserve it at all.  I behaved as a troll.   I behaved in an unacceptable manner.    I was being a jerk just for the fun of it.  I was acting like an a**wipe, just for the fun of it.  I deserve being banned from fanedit.com.   Boon has ever right to be angry with me.   I deserve it.

Hehe! Sorry, that really made me laugh. Wasn't looking for a full out confession buddy, just the jist of what sort of thing might have happened. You told it in such a diffident way that it sounds like had my little joke about sleeping with his dog and letting his wife out been what really happened it would have been a far more minor thing.

Sitting in Barnes and Noble with my laptop, with a bunch of over-dramatic high schoolers behind me, blathering on about their romantic woes without regard to the increasing irritation their obnoxiously loud voices and conversation topic are generating in me.  *head-desk*
