Ok, dude! I just had an idea!

How about a Rocky type of montage after Qui-Gon gets stabbed? A la Rocky IV - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwPb7g_BlXQ - you know, with flash-backs and Darth Maul images? Have it right before Obi Wan confronts Darth Maul.

I mean, you can't go wrong with an 80's cheese in a Star Wars Prequel movie... right?

And how about finishing the movie with "We Fight For Love"? Have Obi-Wan's look at Qui-Gon's body -

- and then let the closing credits roll with Power Station's masterpiece in the background - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiDuOLTy_5w . I mean, the song kinda fits...

Another idea I had was using Zack Wylde's "Farewell Ballad" in the scene where Qui-Gon dies in Obi's hands - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYMupc564zE . I mean, that's the kind of song you would expect to hear in an old school Buddy Cop movie after partner's death. Again - it would give the scene a little bit of that 80's cheese.

But I do, however, understand that it's arguably the manliest guitar solo of all time - so it might not fit in well...

And now the last of my ideas -

You know how there are these screens that they use to communicate with each other? How about turning one of them into a TV and have Captain Freedom's Workout Commercial playing - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LazUZz3K6IY . I have to admit that I can't think of a scene where you could put this in, but maybe this gives you other ideas...
