Oh, I've definitely complained about the revisions. If I want to watch Star Wars to watch Star Wars, I will never put in either SE or Revisited (as well as Revisited is done) simply because each time there's a change, it yanks me right the fuck out of the movie, screaming "HEY! This is new! Isn't this so much better than the old shot? It's all shiny and CG!"
So I guess I wasn't being entirely honest when I implied that the suppression of the originals was the only reason I bitch about the SE's and refuse to buy them. I have big problems with the changes themselves.
But I respect Lucas' right to make said changes, and I would shut the fuck up real fast if he released a Blade Runner- or CE3K-esque set with all the various versions preserved in the best possible quality. He could replace OT Yoda with CG Yoda, and as long as the 1980/1983 versions are available in equal or similar quality to the newest one, I wouldn't say one word about it.
But if they're not, you bet your ass I'll be the most vocal, bitchy, purist fanboy in the world until they are released.
