Back in 2005, I think. We had an uber-troll around here that really disrupted the board. No one was off limits to this guy and it seemed like he wasn't going to be dealt with. I seldom have an issue with trolls and have no problem letting them wear themselves out. But man, this guy made us his full-time gig. I bailed for a few months.

Most of the regulars around here were very bummed completely unaware that I'd left. When I checked back a few months later, he'd been dealt with. Don't remember his name, but his signature was a weird, poorly-drawn cartoon of a wookie in a red robe. Must have been a few versions of the software back, because I don't remember an ignore feature - which I'm fairly quick to pull the trigger on.
