Is there any chance of some disc covers of the above design? I think that would be pretty cool for those who want to print some covers to their discs too. I might do this actually just to put on the shelf.

Awesome!

Well, don't worry too much, I was only really asking on behalf of others who haven't asked, at least yet anyway... ;-P

Awesome preservation thanks indeed to Lee.

I grabbed SW and ESB, watched them yesterday, but having trouble with Jedi.

For some reason rar part 5 is missing, is it just me ? So i can't unzip it as yet.

Edit:nevermind found it now it just showed up for some reason

Cheers again to Lee

Of the three uploads I have done so far Jedi was the one I was most confident about being a good complete upload. My newsreader reports that the other two have missing/incomplete files, where as with Jedi it reports it as complete. I should point out this is on a different computer to the one I use to upload.

Not sure I can really be of much help I am very new to uploading to newsgroups, can you not use the PAR2 files to reconstruct the missing RAR? :|

Cheers for the superfast responce Lee, though I sorted it. Archive test reports all is ok, just waiting now for my DL disks to arrive in post used the last one on Empire.

I was never too big on the SE but these are so much better than my wide screen VHS versions that I have found a new fondness of the '97 SE. It brings back the happy memory of seeing the trilogy on the big screen again 13 years ago.  Man where did that time go!

Yeah, I think it's amazing to finally see them in decent quality after VHS. Although I grew up watching the originals first, I also grew up with the 1997 SE, and it certainly does bring back fond memories seeing them again.

Lee has done a great job of preserving them.

Is it confirmed that your THX 1995 set comes from the same master as Moth3r's ?

Wow! I love those screen shots from the Technicolor Reproduction Project! Finally, I can watch an original version of Star Wars with a more proper saturation level. Out of curiosity, are you just going to use the plain, unrefined GOUT as the base, and, if you do, will you filter/enhance it, aside from the color? Alternatively, are you going to use G-Force's script, the LFL Pwnage, or DJ's V3?

I have both the Coffret set and a copy of the set Moth3r used for his preservation and I am sure they are both from the same master. ;)

I'm using G-Forces script before colour correction, albeit without the scripts colour correction and subtitles commands. I've also modified the resize command to resize to PAL resolution.

Hey Lee, I had chance today to have a look through your THX ANH preservation, and it looks pretty sweet.

I upscaled it via my PS3 for further enhancement and it was awesome. ;-)

Lee, are there any 'extras' on these LDs? Will you be doing them too?

Your Technicolor version is looking pretty fantastic. What/how did you use to correct it and when is it coming out?
