Happy Valentine's Day!

My wife and I just got back from Disneyland/California Adventures. We dropped off the kids at preschool, and went on every "big person" ride except for Pirates and Haunted Mansion (both were closed.)

Since today came after a 3-day weekend, there was almost no one there. We went on Matterhorn, Space Mountain and Star Tours in little over an hour.

It was nice being just the two of us again. Kinda reminded me of college. I sure love her.

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

"still its disneyland!"

A few thing. We've been to Disneyland several times in the past few weeks:

2) Two weekends ago: My neighbors have friends who get all four of us in free. We do all the kiddie rides.

3) One weekend ago: My dad played trombone with his band at the Carnation Plaza (On his birthday, no less). We decide to go ahead and buy annual passes (My son isn't two yet, so he's still free. My daughter's four.) Again, all kiddie rides.

4) Last Tuesday, my wife leaves our son at preschool and has a Mother-Daughter day. (I had a Father-Daughter day with her about a year ago.)

We wanted to spend Valentine's Day together, and this was the perfect opportunity in so many ways. We've got 99% of the rest of the year to use our passes with the kids. After almost 10 years of marriage, and spending most of our "home time" with the children, you learn to take these precious moments whenever you can. It helps keep the relationship strong.

(Besides, the kids had a Valentine's Day party at preschool, so they got to have some fun too!)

MBJ- That honestly sounds like an almost perfect day to me. My wife and I like doing things like that here in Florida (different state, same mouse) but I swear I would have been torqued off because of Pirates and Mansion being closed! Those are the rides that keep me coming back to Disney time and again. Still it seems you had good company!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Sorry I haven't been on here today. I've been at the psychologist.

That's fine. Wasn't planning on having a happy one anyway.

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Aw man, now I'm feeling down. Well, at least I don't have to watch that pile of crap Inception again....

That question is beyond the scope of this forum.

V-Day is the perfect day to make that move on whatever lady has caught your eye.

Give some candy to the girl at the video store. Pick a flower for the lady downstairs. Ask that woman who does her laundry the same time you do to coffee.

Throw some game dude, you don't even need a beard.
