TBH, the fighter change was the product of the remake mindset (good catch, Bingo.)

In my remake SWU, Naboo is to the galaxy what Luxembourg is to the world. I'd be mildly surprised to discover that Luxembourg is building all of it's own high performance fighters. in the RSWU, items like advanced fighters, top of the line executive transports, and AI droids are produced by competing multi-system intra-galactic consortiums.

In this, I was trying to follow GL's original story arc (my best guess, anyway.)

Luxembourg (Naboo) is a medium between French and German.

Switzerland (Aldaraan) is a medium between French, German, and Italian.

The Holyland (RSWU Naboo/Aldaraan/Newname) is the medium between Europe, Asia, and Africa.
