Genius genius genius!! This might actually end up being the best TPM fan edit of ALL TIME!!

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

Your favorite line is "cup?"
One of the many well-acted gems of TPM. If anything, it should be his catchphrase.

Well I'll see what I can do, just for you.  If you think of a good place for it let me know.

When I read the thread title my first thought was "so you're going to try and pass off the DVD version as a fanedit eh?" ;)

Which reminds me of how I'd considered doing a fanedit that claims to "remove all of the offensive tripe about the prequels" and have the result be just the title followed by the credits.

Heh heh, I was waiting for someone to make this joke.  I figured it would be skyjedi but you beat him to it.

But that film has nothing to do with ghosts.

Hey it's my first post here but I'm a long time lurker.

It's an amazing edit idea, TFM has infortunately great comic potential

A little suggestion I read some time ago : a use the line "Are You an angel" as often as you can.

Author
Time

Well I've already used it once! :-)

Welcome to the forum, btw.

Comic repetition, the line is so weird that he could say to everything, his podracer or 3PO for instance.

I like it...he could say it when he meets Obi-Wan :-)
