Legends of the Guardians: The Owls of Gahoole.

Charming film, surprisingly exciting.

DVD had 14 min of unskippable previews, and no features. Scene skipping was done at 10 min intervals, with scenes sometimes 'starting' mid-line. Never seen a DVD of a major release so shoddilly done.

The Happening.

Not as bad as I had heard, but not great either.  I really liked the concept but some of the execution was lacking.  And some really terrible acting by big name actors, especially Marky Mark.

That's only because you've seen The Room.

I cannot watch it without the RiffTrax. Some of their best work.

And yet you refuse to see Inception.

See, I thought they were going for a kind of intentionally stylized performances, and thought Walberg's was hilarious. I loved the bit about the cough syrup (?).

The movie was awful though.

Iron Man 2 the movie sucked.

Makes the first look like a masterpiece by comparison.

First Blood, the Blu Ray version, awesome.

blu ray version? is there something different in the blu ray version as compared to the theatrical?

It looks better on a tv?

Is that Tarkin as Sherlock Holmes ?

No. It's plainly Van Helsing or Doctor Who.

My Mom loves that movie. The blu-ray has a pretty decent amount of bonus features.

Did you know that Marky Mark has a third nipple?

I'm sorry.

Is his third nipple superfluous?  Does he have a pacemaker scar?

I'm guessing I don't fully understand this yet.

Wow, spoiler tags?

Do you know how many people on this forum haven't seen the movie yet?

Carp.  Removed.

I probably should see Inception before I learn too much from The Cheezeburger Network.

Not to mention Lost.

Except that it's not.  It's Basil Rathbone.

C3PX said: Gaffer is like that hot girl in high school that you think you have a chance with even though she is way out of your league because she is sweet and not a stuck up bitch who pretends you don’t exist… then one day you spot her making out with some skinny twerp, only on second glance you realize it is the goth girl who always sits in the back of class; at that moment it dawns on you why she is never seen hanging off the arm of any of the jocks… and you realize, damn, she really is unobtainable after all. Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Yeah, I was just going to say, has nobody heard of Basil Rathbone?  Call yourselves film fans . . . sheesh.
