Just watching it again made me wonder, how the HELL you managed to do the background music, Ady. I mean, you cut up the convo to eliminate the 2004 additions, which I presume also had the music on the same channel. I'm not aware of any sound mix that's kept the dialogue and music seperated. So how on earth did you make the music so seamless?
It's really stumped me.

The smile is ridiculously amazing, and I'm glad you finally got rid of those god awful red eyes. It always made me feel as if suddenly every bloody Sith everywhere had to have red eyes, just because they looked cool on Darth Maul...

I don't know about red eyes, but they now seem both yellow and realigned (i.e., looking directly at Vader) in that latest clip, whereas (if I recall correctly) they were neither before.

I really cant wait for this edit i hate the 2004 ESB dvd the blue tint drives me nuts Lucas dropped the ball with that release. I cant wait to see what you do with ROTJ Revisted i hope you give us the ending we should have gotten with Sebastian Shaw and yub nub restored.

Another tiny point: the nose lights on the Executor from 0:54 to 0:58 are green (as opposed to the blue of the rest of the lights on the side)... just wondering if the lights will be blue across the entire side in all of the Executor shots...

The lights at the tip of the Executor have always been a different colour to the main lights. In the original they were an orange colour to match the stardestroyers lights, but in the 2004 version their colouring became green. The shot of the executor leaving the asteroid field hasn't had anything done to it yet, but the lights will be recoloured to match all the other shots of the executor, although they will be more of a cyan colour and not changed to match the other lights as i really like the difference in the tip lights.
Well I liked that we get to see the step from his meditation chamber in the side shots!!

I've just downloaded the latest version. Is it just me, or does it look like the whole hologram moves lower as the smile goes back down? Is this actually happening or an illusion caused by how Ady had to manipulate the mouth, and therefore the hologram effect?
Also I'm assuming the audio is only temporary. It seems perfectly in sync except for "...of Skywalker must not become a Jedi" where the mouth seems slightly ahead of the dialogue.
Seeing it in higher quality, it's just beautiful though :-)

If you look at the comparison video i posted the original 2004 emperor hologram lowers at that exact same point. I had to track the original to match up the overlayed mask so the movement needed to stay the same. The problem with the hologram beings semi-transparent is that the original background shows through, so if i tried to erase the slight drop of the hologram, the background behind the original face would look like it's moving upwards. But i might see if i can do something about it. If not then it will just have to stay as it is
Hey ady, are you going to make the audio pitch match that of the Emperor in ROTJ? It's slightly higher in ROTJ than it is in ESB:SE and ROTS.

You know what I would add to the emperor that I think would distract from the lack of facial movement? A quick eye blink, a la the amazing eye work you already did on Yoda.
I know the 2004 version is basically just as static, but I loved the slow blink from the 1980 lady/monkey.
But knowing you, Ady, you probably already tried that...

I agree on the deathly stare. Like I said before, everything about the 2004 Emperor is just ridiculous, including the eyes, that make up the stare.
Your Emperor edit is far superior ady.

I wouldn't even worry about it. It looks perfect the way it is. I didn't even notice the drop until I read that. It's all part of the hologram's fuzziness.
