What is your social life like? — Page 3

I find this thread amusing.

I have always been a total dork, and socially very aloof and awkward. Always been into really nerdy things and never afraid to admit it. I've also usually tended to want to spend time by myself, rather than being around other people all the time. I'm not extremely good looking either and literally every woman I have ever been close to has at one point or another gentle told me I walk really weird...

Yet, I have never had problems getting the attention of the opposite sex, and sometimes, usually when I am not available, it feels like I get far more attention than I'd like.

Nerdiness has little to do with lack of female company. I see it as an excuse more than anything else. There are other issues at work, clearly. Case in point, being afraid to ask a girl if she is single, but rather going through the trouble of stalking her on facebook in order to find it out. If you've already got a conversation going with her, asking if she has a boyfriend is a perfectly reasonable question and shouldn't be a very big deal at all.

Hello!

You aren't the oldest chaps in the room you know.

Give me a pair of binoculars and a place to stand I could show a girl a good time.

I don't like Christmas cards, they are flappy and cause paper-cuts, the glitter is course and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

To be fair to 005, though, isn't it supposed to be "apple core" rather than "applesauce"?

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

My kids really like Chipmunks for some reason.  We've been watching a lot of Alvin and the {}... Christmas Specials, Valentines Specials, Special Specials, Cartoons, Movies, Soundtracks you name it.  The only things as popular as Chipmunks were probabaly the Chipettes.

Costco had all of the 90's Disney Afterschool Cartoon DVD sets on sale for $8.99 last year and we bought all of the ones we didn't already have.

We're talking:
DuckTales V.3
TailSpin V.1&2
Darkwing Duck V.1&2
and yes...
Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers V.1&2

So the kids got Rescue Rangers v.1 for Christmas.  And man, my house has had no end of problems for the Rescue Rangers to solve since then.  Everyday I come home to find that Fat Cat is up to something new.

Ah, to be young again, eh?

P.S. It seems that former favourite Alvin can't hold a candle to Chip.  And how could he?  He's part Indiana Jones?

I now have this image that you walk like Jar-Jar. And you always wear a vest and are barefoot.

I haven't had a relationship in a long time. It's not because I am afraid or lazy. I would just prefer I had some money to be able to show a girl a good time, working on that. I am 20 after all.

Showing a girl a good time don't cost much...Just gotta have the moves man, the moves!!!

Moves, what moves? What are you talking about? I'm not going in there.

I always come off as some crazy Ben Kenobi wizard/3P0 hybrid. What joy.

Nothing like that! I don't know, I guess I just kick my feel out in a weird way when I step. It isn't that noticeable unless you are focusing on my feet (which is something women have a tendency to do. I've had at least three women decide they'd teach me how to walk properly, one damn near did it too, but my ankles got really sore after about a week. I've decided to adopt the story that I have a minor bone deformity as an excuse (for all I know, I do).

No vests or bare feet for me either.

I do that too, so did my dad.

So you're not so different after all.

You both have the same height, the same build, you both kiss the same way, you both draw your guns the same way, and you both sing the same wrong words to Amazing Grace.
