There are a couple of edits on Ray Harryhausen DVDs that I like to mention.

Golden Voyage of Sinbad: Your link refers to the scene in which Sinbad carries Margiana to shore at Lemuria from the longboat. When he releases her to stand next to him, Caroline Munro's skimpy top shifted slightly and she was, in fact, exposed (though only slightly). I can verify this, as I used to own an original 16mm print of the film, and I and others projected it quite large on the wall to check this out (purely in the interests of research, of course...).  I was surprised to read that it was digitally obscured for the DVD, as it was very discreet and hard to see even in the original scene (they were probably just playing it safe). It's not like she "popped out" blatantly; her costume and hair still managed to pretty much disguise what was going on. In fact, it wasn't until some time later that this came to light, and I had already seen the movie in the theater many times and had never noticed it. It was only then that we in the "forensic" team leaped into action.

This excerpt came from Ernest Farino's post.

In addition on Mysterious Island, the bikini girl in the crab scene is missing from the DVD.  As explained in this lengthy post, Ernest Farino writes, "She shows up, then, when viewing a full frame print, usually on TV or VHS video transfer."  Ernest also provides a screenshot comparison:

I think if the scenes from Golden Voyage of Sinbad and Mysterious Island are intact, it would be worth preserving the LD versions.
