Lucas changed his mind about the SE's that were just shown in theaters.
They will be re-mastered again, but this time they will digitally add
back in bad matte lines, scratches and reel change indicators. As an
added touch they will remove approx 1.3 seconds of footage and include
a splice "pop" in the soundtrack. This is to ensure that home viewers
will be able to enjoy the films as they were originally presented in

will apprear in selected theaters across the country. Then they will be
released in a special home video version packaged in an replica of
C3PO's head. It will be accompanyied by a genuine certificate of
authenticity to guarantee it's status as a limited (they will only
produce ten billion of them) collectable with investment possibilities.

I would like to see a trade-in program where one can exchange the SW discs
he bought last year for the ones that are coming. Wouldn't that be great?
(I know, I know, don't hold your breath!) :-)
