Great! I really must get a hold of the blu-ray set after all, now you've confirmed that the more 'natural' colour of the previous releases has been restored somewhat to the 'theatrical' cut of ALIEN. That's made my day! :)

Oh wait...just to clarify, did you mean the blu-ray's colours are more like the dvd's colours ALL the way through now...or just these few scenes you've mentioned above?
