We can only hope. I am personally glad Ridley gave it up and decided to do something a bit more original. ALIEN 3 should have been the William Gibson script, which would have led to humans going to the source of the signal, so to speak.
And right now, the ALIEN ANTHOLOGY is going for $70!:
