I really hope he does that, I was checking ANH:R right now and comparing it to Ady's AVCHD colours and ANH:R looks almost black and white compared to the AVCHD colours, which was also corrected by Adywan and the colours there are beautiful IMO, so it would be great if he took the same approach to the colour correction as he did with the AVCHD.

And also, as it seems my previous post got kinda lost, how about only making a selectable soundmix, which wouldn't feature the added music?

I agree with you.  The AVCHD colours do look much better; Revisited seems a bit too desaturated.

One of the things I personally loved about 'Star Wars:Revisited' was it's somewhat 'stylized' colouration when it came to the 'Death Star's interior sets.  It's deliberately 'grey' pallette was certainly a big improvement over the SE dvd colours, and I thought it really suited the look of the 'Death Star'.

However, when adywan eventually gets around to his next version of it in a few years, it seems he will indeed be re-colouring certain things differently, as he mentions in this interview which you may have missed - http://doubleofive.wordpress.com/ganamaes-interview-with-adywan/

I haven't seen the AVCHD, but the comparison shot above looks good too, and I'm sure things will look terrific, whatever is done.  As far as the added music during the Vader/Ben duel was concerned...I'd have to say that it was one of my absolute favourite enhancements to his edit, and a very bold idea.  I see there's been recent suggestions for different versions of that music to be used instead, and I can see how that might be equally good too...but mainly I just love the fact that there was such a neat piece of music used over the scene in the first place.

According to that interview above, it seems that adywan is considering going back to silence during the duel.  Time will tell, but I always loved how most of the movie seemed to be filled with John Williams score throughout so much of it, and I reckon this scene benefits from having some too.  After being used to hearing how things sound in 'Revisited' for so long, I just find the original scene lacking without a musical accompanyment now.

Just my own 2 cents on that.
