Ah, ha-ha-ha-ha!!!
TV Frink, I was going through your list of "Classic LOL Moments in OT.com History" and I noticed a particular GIF image that I wanted to save on my computer. But it wouldn't save in motion. It was a GIF Image of this dude laying on a bed and then this dude comes in and hits him in the stomach and it says PERMA, and the he gets hits him in the head and it says BAN! I was wondering if you could help me refind it and save it to my computer , I can't remember where I found it.

Also, I will state here that iTunes on Windows blows giant monkey chunks. It wasn't designed for Windows, and it works like shit on it.
hmm, I use iTunes on Windows and have no problem with it.
Every time I use iTunes on Windows, I click on the icon to open it up. Then I wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and after maybe a minute, iTunes finally shows up! Yay! I can listen to my music!
Click ... wait ... nothing's happening ... okay ... click ... click ... click ... NOTHING'S HAPPENING!!!
Wait ... the four clicks I made just occurred all at the same time, and now I'm listening to something really fucking weird that I had no intention of ever listening to! Okay, press spacebar to stop ... music continues for five more seconds ... ah, there, it stopped!
Okay, click on "The Who" ... wait ... wait ... wait ... there we go, iTunes has now opened "The Who!"
Double-click on "Overture" from "Tommy" ... wait ... wait ... wait ... there we go!
Time to quit iTunes? File > Exit ... wait ... wait ... wait ... wait ...
...
...
ctrl+alt+del ... "Force Quit" iTunes ... wait ... wait ... wait ...
...
...
...
And that's why I hate iTunes on Windows.
well, guess I'm just a little more patient. Yeah it can take time to load and all, but it still works.
Itunes does suck ass on Windows compared to Mac. I use Winamp though, so it doesn't bother me.

Here's what I'm reading from this:
"Once Adywan gets here and proves that I'm right, you'll be sorry!"
Really? It's a matter of opinion. It doesn't matter how many people agree with you, or how many people agree with me. Neither of us is right or wrong when it comes to Apple vs. Microsoft.
Besides, a lot of the things you've said in this thread to "back up" your opinion happens to be outdated, or simply incorrect. Adywan could easily do all of the Revisited saga on a Mac, he just chooses not to, for his own reasons.
When I say that OS X can do all this stuff, I'm not claiming that Windows can't. I'm just saying your belief that OS X can't is inaccurate. That doesn't mean you have to like OS X or Apple.
But that also doesn't give you a license to go on this crusade to prove Apple users are stupid, or whatever it is you're trying to prove here.

I question your motives, but what the hell...
Where did you find that? I found that hilareous coming from Moth3r, but I could've sworn it was slightly different. Also where's the thread where this dude who posts an image of Moff Tarkin standing with Leia and it has Moff Tarkin saying "Ziggy, soon Moth3r will own your ass" could you help me find that too?
So I saved the image to my computer but it doesn't play as fast as it does on this website. TV Frink, what do you think is the funniest classic LOL moment?
Where did this permabanned gif come from anyways? I can't put my finger on what movie/TV show it came from?

Those two sentences?

I believe it is from 21 Jump Street.
Serious speaking what is your favorite? I'm still going through them and I cannot decide.
That's like asking me to pick which of my 87 children is my favorite.
Is this thread no longer about apples?
It's about oranges now
Removed due to Adywan's request
First, my 2007 MacBook Pro natively displays 1920x1200 resolution, which is slightly higher than 1080p, at a 16:10 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 (slightly taller, hence the extra 120 lines of resolution). So that's not true.
The software he uses (Vegas) does not, in fact, run on a Mac. However, Avid (Windows/Mac) and Final Cut Pro (Mac only) are substantially more powerful than Vegas (though Vegas is still very good).
I believe he's referring to iMacs and Mac laptops when he says "you are stuck with the very small amount of available components." This is simply not true with the Mac Pro desktops, which is what the majority of professional film editors/CG artists work on.
I don't know why he thinks Macs aren't as fast as PC's. Possibly he's saying you can get a faster PC for cheaper than a slower Mac, which is true. But you can get very fast Macs - my laptop has a dual-core 2.6 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 256MB video card (admittedly, the video card is quite outdated now). You can get even better specs with a current-gen Mac.
I've only ever run into trouble with video work on my laptop when I'm working with too many layers of 1080p video. Straight editing, color correction, audio design/mixing, and effects work pose no problem.
ok, i'm not too happy about being brought into this whole argument and i'm certainly not happy about you posting quotes from PRIVATE emails. You have also taken things i said out of context.
I don't like Macs, never have. Why? Because i refuse to pay such an overblown price for something just because it has the Apple logo. A Mac Pro with a 2.4ghz xeon processor, 6gb ram and a 1tb drive is like £3000. Seriously? I can build/buy a PC with better hardware, faster and more storage for half that price. For the price you pay for a decent PC you can't get a Mac that performs anywhere near that, so PC have surpassed Macs for that one reason. A lot of the software i use won't run on a mac and i wouldn't be able to do a fraction of the stuff i do on a PC on a Mac without having to pay a small fortune for the software.
Also when you mentioned the monitors i was only correcting you when you thought the ones at your school were 1440p, when their resolution was more likely to be 1440 x 900 if they are widescreen monitors and that would be their highest native resolution compared to my 1080p PC monitor. I was leaving Mac pro's out of our conversation because of their price range when i was talking about upgrading. I don't count a Mac pro as being a viable option for me to ever use.
I also don't like what Apple have become. I'm fed up of people telling me that i only don't like apple because i either can't afford it or that i am too stupid to know any better. It's become a snobbery thing. It really bugs me when a new product comes out and the Apple fans & reviewers just call them things like "the poor mans ipad" or "the poor mans iphone". Then the whole iphone issue when you would loose your signal was put down to the official explaination that"you are holding it wrong" really made me laugh. And people believed this. Mugs. A lot of people only buy apple products for their status value in todays society. Now notice i said " a lot" and not "all" so i'm not slagging off genuine Apple users.
Windows based PC's and Apples both have their pros and cons. It's not up to anyone to say "you have to have this one". It's a personal and also a professional choice
Macs are friggin awesome with video, as a windows user I can admit that. I had to use them in a Media Production class in High School.
For things I like to do I could easily do it on a mac, I just stick with PCs because it is territory I am more familiar with.
I am also very stingy, so the PC is the better choice.
I just don't like most younger Mac users, not including ones like ChainsawAsh who actually know what they are talking about. Most Mac users sound much like you do Ghostbusters, only they are for the Mac team.
While there are things a mac can't do that a PC can do and Vice Versa, they both have easy means of compensation.
In the end the winner of the OS war is Linux LOL.

I agree with what Ady said about the snobbery. I dealt with that shit everyday in media production and CAD, bunch of whiny ass kids trying to say that PCs were crappy because they are cheaper.

Adywan I'm sorry about posting our private email and dragging you into this. Thanks for returning you did a good job. I wasn't trying to be pushy, I was just joking about the "I'm getting impatient and this better be good" part. I'm going to bed now, goodnight.
If you really are sorry, you might considering editing your post.

Did you wake up?
I really need to know what happened next.
My biggest complaint about Apple (users) is the sense that PC (users) are out to get them. Um... didn't they start that mess with the "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" commercials? Sure, PC guys are on the defensive now. Apple seems to be the biggest source of disinformation on the subject anyhow:
Macs:
Music
Movies
Cool
Games
Internet
Girls!
Hip
PCs:
Spreadsheets
Ugly ties
elbow patches
thick glasses
high waisted pants
(and certainly no internet, games, or media (or sex))
IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!
"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005
"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM
"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.
In my experience most hardcore Macolytes are homosexual men unburdened by the expense of a family.
Many people buy them because they meet (or met in my case) their specific needs but people who buy electronic hardware as fashion accessories are just as hilarious as people who use Internut Exploder because it makes Google work.
Back in 2003 the then current configuration of the Chateau was even smaller on the inside than it is now.
I needed something to play music, browse the web, play my DVD's with a big enough display to fiddle around with Photoshop so I got the then very expensive PowerBook G4 17 inch screen laptop.
It was then the largest screen laptop on the market, it allowed me to not need a television screen, a HiFi, a large computer and the the furniture to hold it and it still works.
The customer service however was terrible and a saga too long for detailing here though I imagine I've waxed lyrically about it in the past.
Even so not many people can lay claim to having running a laptop for a decade, which still works relatively well (a few issues with the latest versions of VLC but that's a software issue not a hardware one) and I've never had a confirmed virus on the thing.
Only once was something a bit odd detected on my frequent sweeps and it didn't actually do anything to my machine.
It might have caused havoc if I hadn't caught it in time and passed it on to a PC user but I did catch it and it didn't.
