I don't see why politiking couldn't be SW. It would be a departure, but not that big a leap. The Clone Wars for the first time, gives some representations to the General Public, a major factor missing from the politics of the SW movies. There's never any will of the citizenry, which makes the stories quaint. The problem with the SW politics right now, is there hasn't really been a case where both sides have legitimate greivances, and the issues doesn't get resolved by some murders or wars. Understand Wars are integral, but if you want a more vibrant political investigation and conclusions, might need to give up on some of the things held dear. Wars not make one great...
