I, too, like the suave and witty Bond. But I just think that Dalton's contribution in License to Kill gets unfairly frowned upon. Why can't Bond take matters into his own hands when his best friend is killed? I sure as hell would. Luke Skywalker did when Vader threatened to turn his sister to the Dark Side. That was no Jedi action there. That was sheer malice. But I don't hear people complaining about how un-Jedi-like Luke is in that scene.
