Hey Ash595,

I sent you an email yesterday but it bounced back. Was asking another little favour. One I think you will like.

I will send you my address details via a PM and hopefully you can let me know your email address.

Thanks

It looks great Lexx.  That is my favourite painting on the DVD menu I created yesterday. I will try to upload the covers for BE and RTJ for guidance. Probably not until monday though as I am doing paid work all weekend.

Thanks again for your effort.

I had uploaded BE Miami complete DL PAL version with all the previous extras at fanedit.info.

I may do an NTSC conversion of it though.

Jambe, for the love of god, encode this one progressive and not interlaced... LOL

Also, an idea for a new title would be......

Star Wars: A New Beginning.

I have an NTSC version of BE, how can I tell if it's the Miami underground version? A time point comparison someone please?

I would love to get hold of some ADigitalMan Extended Editions if anyone can help out. Monty Python's Life Of Brian, Love Actually Bloated and Flatulent. Ta!

The Miami version has a different and very basic menu saying Miami Underground FIlm Festival Version on it. The 20th Century fox logo has also been replaced by a Jambe Davdar 20th Century Fox style logo.

I don't think that there is an NTSC version of the Miami edition.

There isn't at fanedit.info anyway. Just NTSC of the original edition can be found there.

Well I have sent out a pre-QC version of SWB to my QC team (you know who you are).

I am away for a while so I look forward to hearing their thoughts on my return.

'Feel the Force' is on it's way, so I will work on integrating those few short shots in on my return along with Ripplin's crawl.  The DVD menu video is made and the trailer for the DVD Special Features is done.

I think, providing there are no amazing discoveries between now and mid December, I should think they you will all be receiving a gift from me this Christmas.

Thanks again for all your help.

I began working on a cover. Still need some work but I am pleasing with the front. Matched perfectly with the covers I designed for Buildiing and Returning.

I'm inspired. Not to make my own, I don't have that talent or expertise, but the workmanship makes me wonder what covers I'm using now.

Will gladly change...

Great looking covers Ash595 and LexX!!!

Thanks! I'll only need the runtime for SWB and they're ready. If there's any interested I can then put the high res versions up.

JD, you really should consider ditching your Mac and getting a PC instead. Us Windows users have a handy "Print Screen" button, so you'll never have to take a photograph of your monitor again!

Yeah, us poor Mac folk have to make due with Save Screen to file, save region to file or save window (w. dropshadow) to file :(

Whoa!!

Walrus Man gets the dice

Not just Ponda Baba's arm, but his HEAD and what looks like maybe part of his torso?  I've never seen this still.

This corresponds more to the way things went down in the novel, but certainly not what was shown on-screen.  That's awesome, and I assume that you're making note of it for the doc, Jambe?

If you check the footage frame by frame, you will see that it WAS filmed exactly as it's written in the novel. But I have never before seen this photo, thanks :)

Sorry you guys didn't get the expected gift this Christmas. I am just waiting on my QC team to get back to me.  They received the second half to look over around the holiday time, so it was too late for me to expect them to reply and get everything else done before the end of 2011.

Next week I will have a few hours to work on it and hope to have it done by end of Feb 2011.  I am still wondering about the name and if it works.

I was wondering whether to rename it 'Starting WARS', with 'Wars' in the Star Wars font. Hmm, maybe not.

Just before Christmas I got a lot done filling in those dead spots and integrating more bits and bobs. I am pretty please with it and I really hope you like it too.

WATCH THIS SPACE.
