I meant it would be odd if Star Wars was released as promo disc for 3D televisions before being released in 3D theatrically.

But I wouldn't rule out a sampler disc bundled with televisions to get people interested in forking out extra for a format that may not go anywhere.

Heck! It could just be The Clone Wars on 3D TV tied into a Panasonic promo.
