The Luke training scene on the Falcon was all done for the '97 SE, the saber in Ben's hut was also recomped for the '97 SE, they are identical in appearence to the 2004 DVD.
Obi-Wan's saber in the battle with Vader was redone in 2004, the battle was still all untouched in the '97 SE including those flashes.
