Did Thx 1138 ever get a ntsc VHS release in the USA in letterbox ?

It took me forever to find the pan and scan since it was out of print. They had to order it from a warehouse for me and it cost 40 dollars.

This was long before episode 1 hit the theaters cannot remember the year i purchased it exactly but the videotape was from 1991 i believe.

As far as i know it got only a single release in letterbox as a laserdisc once only in the United States. A hard to find laserdisc that you cannot find accept on ebay or the laserdisc database.

I also rented the original American Graffiti VHS original version, but the quality was less than spectacular. The changes made to the DVD i hate.
