You can't make Ewok-eating into a fast food thing! It's a gourmet thing... First, you have to tie one up, and beat him in the head with a basball bat, then you throw him into hot water, so the hair is easier to remove. After removing the hair, you cut him in half, and remove all the organs. Then you cut his arms and legs out, from which the finest meat come from. Fry it on some olive oil and garlic. I recomend a fine red wine while serving "Ewok a là Lune d'Endor" to your guests. Bon appetit.

Samatar, much like Subways, my Ewok Stand is in operation thanks to a kind franchising agreement with the Hutts.

Damn Ric. Sounds like you've got experience in this sort of thing.

What would you recommend as a sidedish and do Ewoks work better with a white wine or red?

Ewoks could be served with a light salad, or maybe potatoes, never serve Ewok meat with anything warmer than the cut of meat itself. And always serve red wine with red meat (beef, pork, ewok); you should keep the white wine for the fish, chicken, or mon calamari. What a romantic evening, a candlelight dinner with your loved one serving "Ewok a là mode du Sith", with some fine red wine from Coruscant, aged 25 years pre-ANH, with some Kenny G on the stereo...

Red wine would make sense. I guess I was of the initial mindset (from watching Wicket cower under trees when Leia took off her helmet) that they were more "chicken". Hense the association with poultry and the desire to accompany poultry with a white or blush. My mistake. Thank you for your tips.

How would you recommend preparing Mon Calamari? Does it work well as a sushi dish? Or should I just pan sear it and serve on a bed of white rice?

Yes, with some white rice it would be nice. Now, Mon Calamari is a celebration dish, usually served during dinner parties and transatlantic inalgurations, thus requiring a nice bottle of champagne (the real one, from the region of France called Champagne), served in room temperature. But please, do check with your guests if any of them is alergic. Both Mon Calamari and Ewok could be served as kosher, too.

My favorite dishes:

Ewok a là Lune d'Endor
Mon Calamaria a là Jedi
Salad Kamino, with some omelete du fromage
Green Fried Tauntaun eyeballs
Sand People's wonderful macarroni with cheese
The soup Yoda makes in Dagobah
Jarjarburger with bacon

Let's not forget Mynock Sashimi.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

But from what I've read, JarJarBurger is a delicacy simply due to its rarity. I mean you can only ground up the one JarJar. So, for those of you interested in trying one of these without paying the high prices, I suggest sticking to a much more easily accessible GunganBurger. Topped with Colby Jack cheese and fresh romaine and tomatoes and you've got a great burger. Order now from www.gunganburger.com and they'll throw in freshly baked Gungabuns and a recipe book with alternate ways to prepare ground Gungan.

Make sure to serve with a freshly chilled Hoth Lager.

Well, well... from what I have seen in this thead, I infer that ricarleite is a true connoisseur.
But I don't have much patience to spend whole day in the kitchen - one GunganBurger(TM) for me!

I'm lovin' it....
I saw the original theatrical release of the Old Trilogy on the big screen and I'm proud of it...
How did I accomplish that (considering my age) is my secret...

You have to endure those same God-awful McDonald's commercials in Poland? I'm so sorry.

You no doubt have noticed that the latest series of cups from McD's has every possible linguistice permutation of "I'm Lovin' It" on it, right?

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

Yes. And I hate them. It's a horrible catch phrase but only because it works so well. It ingrains itself in your head and you can't help but think of McDonald's. Unfortunately for them, it makes me want to eat McD's even less than before.

RRS I'm not, I can't cook at all.

Here, McD's ads are translated to something like "Love it all very much", which sounds better, and allows word permutations. But I hate McD's, and I hate TV ads.

LOL, and we're so pro-US here that we left the original catch phrase.
Another series of "borrowed" themes are the beer ads, which most look like those British/Irish/German... (IMHO pubs are not inherent to our culture, even though they're popular now) Fortunately Warka changed this boring rule and Tyskie convinced me that even "pub ad" can be funny and witty...

This doesn't mean we don't have "localized" ads, for example the last Snickers(R) spot made me laugh hysterically for minutes... (no, I can't think about it without.... buahahahahahahaha )

the other one is the scientist making the emperiment with the chimp who cant get his hand out of the bowl whilst holding peanuts, when he himself reaches for a snickers in the breast pocket, he cant get his hand out.

I hate TV mostly because it sells a false life we will never achieve and fill our minds with violence, hate, and lies. And advertising is the conection between the TV and the false idealism that buying stuff you don't need will make you a happy, actractive and charming person. But, still, some ads I enjoyed are:

There was this campaign by Nokia here, in which they presented the life of unusual people, like a man who only walked backwards, a man who thought he was invisible (he went to a ping pong game and started playing with the ball in front of the players), and they conected in some way with the cell phone, the man walking backwards see the cell phone on a store and walks foward to see it, for the first time on his life, the invisible man discovers he is not invisible when they take a pic of him with the cell phone. It's not "ha ha" funny, but it was pure genius.

There's the famous ad, with an elderly couple sleeping on a dark room, and a bug starts to make some noise, you know, "bzzzz", and the old man gets a can and starts to spray to kill the bug, and they turn on the lights, and there's spray paint all over the wall.

The bizarre ad by Sega, with the poor ping pong player in China that played with his ears, and since he was a kid he was pulling his ears to make them big... cant explain it, you gotta see it to belive it.

And another one, I think it was a X-box ad, which featured a woman during labor work, and she shoots out the baby out of the window, and it flies over the sky, screaming, and it gets older, and its a kid, then a teen, then a man, always flying thru the sky, screaming, and when he gets old he lands "puf!" on a open coffin. And it ends with "Life is short" on the screen. Thought that was cool.

and the internet doesnt do that? there is always free choice... nobody is forcing you buy the products, and there are some ads that advertise things that are not useless...

Im getting sick.

Until one hour ago I still hoped that all these rumours about changed scenes in the DVD-release will not be true. I hoped that all the scenes we get to see on all these well-informed internet pages are preparations for the Ultimate Edition.

Now this hope is lost:

http://starwars.com.com/4016-4183_8-0.html?ttag=ksrch_top&qt=%22Star+Wars+Trilogy%22++DVD&orderby=8pop

Go to this page and have a look on the actors credits!

For me, I already planned to buy bootlegs of the OT. Now its time to get some of the SE too.

Author
Time
And I forgot to mention:

I was one of those people planning to buy the SE even as I think that the OT is much better and has more magic in it than the SE.

Now my decision has changed. GL won't see a single penny of my money.
