Thanks to people like him who will suck up anything that is Star Wars, no matter how bad it is, i worry about what we will get for the Blu-Rays for the OT. More changes/fuck ups that will only widen the rift between fans of the OT and the fans of the PT. Come on George you can stop this in one move: Release the original versions of the OT restored for the fans that enabled you to do your movies in the first place and peace will be restored. You can do whatever you want with the SE and we won't care because we will have our preferred version in perfect quality. Don't forget George, if it wasn't for us you would never have been able to make your beloved prequels and SE's. When the teenybopper prequel fans grow up you won't have your fan base to sell all your toys and videos

But GL will never listen to anyone who could criticize him. Fifteen years later we will still be begging him to release the originals, and he will still not listen to you. Lucas was a fraud all along as a filmmaker, and he will sink the franchise to deeper and more atrocious levels than any sane human being could imagine. Do you think some message boards on some obscure website will change anyone's mind to release the originals? Not within your lifetime, not in my lifetime, nor in anyone else's lifetime. The only way any person will be able to see the originals is through bootlegs, and that is a sad fact. In LFL's mind, the OT has been restored (when in reality they have been destroyed beyond all hope). There's no reason they're going to hunt down some not battered negatives in someone's basement, to them it's a pointless exercise. And don't think your two million restorations matter; even at their best, the preservations made on this website are already 20 years out of date. There is no point in going on with your worthless preservations. You should just follow my advice and accept the loss of these films and move on. Why should we preserve these films? Without SW, there would be no Michael Bay, Jerry Bruckheimer, Roland Emmerich, and other business hacks disguised as cinematic auteurs.
