Ok, I'm back with another suggestion. It's more of a question actually -

Why are Sith Eyes bad?

Aside form the fact that they weren't in The Original Trilogy and that in most cases it's used as a gimmick - why do we hate them?

They could actually serve the plot! They may be of some use. I was reading haljordan's post* about Why He Hates Prequels and - while I understand he's kind of a weirdo - he made a pretty good point -

... in the 80s lucas always said  anakin  was seducded  to the dark side through no fault of his own.  like a person who tries drugs.  they try it and then they become seducded by it because it is too powerful for them to handle or control. in the original return of the jedi script   ben tells luke  that "as a part of a jedis training he must confront and then  move past the dark side of the force and that anakin  when he confronted the dark side  became seduced by it because he thought he was strong enough to control it and in the end as with drugs it was too powerful for him to control and it took him over"  hence when vader would always go around saying  "if you only knew the power of the dark side"

If we go by this logic then in this scene, for example - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwpTE1ckgEs - Sith Eyes work every well. He becomes angry and lets the Dark Side take over - he just cannot control it. He's at a point where most of us would be pissed and vulnerable [for anger to take over].

And those Sith Eyes really help us imagine that there's some powerful force controlling Anakin.

What do you think?
