Still a pretty shitty thing to do, but he didn't lie about cancer to get money.

That is, of course, assuming he was lying, which I'm not convinced he was.

he accepted the money knowing it was given to help with his cancer treatments. If he didn't have cancer, its the same as lying about cancer to get money in my book.

also he pm'ed me this on December 9th:

Funds toward my radiation treatment have been really slow. I hate to ask, but do you think that you could ask Jay if he could send out a mass pm? I really shouldn't be asking, but I'm running out of time.

so he did ask for money.
