Saw "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" for the first time last night. Great movie! Great gags, writing, and onscreen alchemy between Candy and Martin!

First time?

*faints*

Well, there's always a first time for everything.

For instance, have you ever been kicked in the balls? I have, many times, and after the first time...

....no, it always hurts ridiculously bad... but my point is....

...I forgot.

But the moral of the story is, being kicked in the balls is bad, "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" is great!

Alien 3 (Blu-ray Special Edition).

Loved it.  The extra footage really adds to the movie.

Author

In terms of content is the Blu-ray edition any different from the DVD version of the extended cut?

Author

The cut is exactly the same, but the incomplete audio mix in certain scenes on the DVD has been finished for the Blu-Ray - the actors were brought in to ADR the necessary lines, and the rest of the sound design was finished, too.  It really helps make it feel finished, where the DVD feels like a workprint.

I like how it hits him so hard that his right arm disappears, leaving only the hand!

So very much like the original then?

Yes, exactly.  Which is why I don't know how it's getting such bad reviews.

I dunno.  I hadn't been born when it came out, so all I knew about it was word-of-mouth from friends and family about how amazing it was.

Hey, guys.  Did you hear that?  Frink has an obsession with adult films!  *snicker*  Now let's just let the rumor mill do its thing...

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Phrinke wishes he could make adult films with Ash's mom . . .

:D

Just saw the latest Narnia film.  Twas rather good, certainly more enjoyable than the second one.  Nothing like seeing big adventure movies on a 70 foot screen!

I haven't seen Dawn Treader yet, but since you bring it up, why all the hate for Prince Caspian?  I thought that movie was amazing.

And I have to say I'm quite saddened that they didn't get Eddie Izzard back to play Reepicheep in the new movie.
