Weren't the prequels all about the deformation of the jedi order, the dismantling of the republic and the forming of the empire, and that sucked according to you, why would you want more of this kind of storytelling?

the whoile stupid idea of the sith rule of two. yet vader and the emperor want to recruit luke and make him a sith. of course when epiusode 5 was made there was no such thing as a sith rule of two so it made perfect sense. but now thanks to the pt crap it is just another plot blunder.

Vader and the Emperor want Luke to replace the Emperor or Vader. The rule of two still works in Ep5.
