Whilw watching a youtube video of start wars winning its 7 academy awards in 1977 out of the 11 it was nominated for..including best picture and best screenplay I cant help of be reminded how lucas was saying star wwars always got hammered by critics because the prequels were labeled for the GARBGE that they are. does that sound like the critics hammered the OT? 11 acdemyt award nods including best picture and best screenplay? I think not. just another example of how the pathetic lucas does or say anything to bring the OT down to the level of the PT. In these academy awarsd videos...they come on stage and thank marcia lucas and gary kurtz two of the main people responsable for making episode 4 and 5 the masterpieces that they are...two people you wont found mentioned over at star wars.com soon as they left star wars went down hill. starting with return of the jedi straight through to the junikquels.

all I can say is thank yiou gary kurtz thank you marcia lucas thank you lawerence kasdan and thank you irvin kershner for giving us the greatest moie of all time...the empire strikes back and thank you lucas for staying away during filming and not putting your two cents in. thank you lucas for giving us a new hope. that lucas was a young hungry talanted filmmaker. who is dead and gone now...all that remains is a greedy buisnessman who thinks about money dirt and quality films last. old lucas thank you...new lucas go fuc* yourself.

the prequels are a prime example of making a film with the goal to make the most money and appeal to lil kids instead of having the goal to make a quality film

PT most razzie awards in history for worst director, worst screenplay, worst actor, worst film. those movies are an embarrasment to watch. unless you are a 3 yr old child who loves power rangers. cause thats all the pt is 2 hr long power ranger episodes.
