I think that what's more feasible is actually to have Anakin not to tell Windu at all. Something kinda

holochat with windu + Anakin... bla blah, Anakin gets sent to inform the chancellor Obi's made contact, the holochat goes on without Anakin, and there we get the council to determinate Palpatine's removal.

cut to obi killing grievous. cut to palpatine's reveal. cut to windu SOMEHOW getting informed that obi's mission haven succesfully completed, considering what the council has decided, he gets some Jedi and leaves. cut to "I'm not the jedi I should be". cut to Palpatine vs Windu.

How would Anakin get to the office?? Well, it'd be one less taking off scene
