That executor underside is only down to the crushed blacks in the 2004 transfer. You could see the underside prior to this. Unless a hd transfer of the pre 2004 version ESB miraculously turns up it's going to have to stay that way i'm afraid. CG isn't an option either. And i don't want to replace it with a different shot of the Executor because it would screw the compsite

And the other executor shot looks much better as it is originally as viewed from the underside.

Now i had to wait so i could be back at  home so i could access the video clip of the emperor so i could answer some of the other criticisms from sevb32

There is  too much interference and shaking in the holo.

I've tried to match it to the interference seen in the 2004 version and the shaking is the same because i had to track the original hologram to add the new elements or they wouldn't have matched but i haven't added any additional shaking

Behind palpatine the background looks too static. There was a little light that were blinking in the dark rentagle in the wall.

The lights are still there. I checked the clip and they are clearly visible in both the front and side view shots

Vader's close up after a while was reversed footage.

This was the only option i had because the footage was cut down for the 2004 version so to recreate this shot i couldn't avoid it, but it's the same footage i used for my 1080p AVCHD ESB 97 recreation and no one noticed this so i'm not bothered about it. There are quite a few shots in ESB that does have reversed footage added to extend the shot and those have always been there since 1980

I like but i dont if its correct that the lines in the side view to be angled and even the holo animation lines follow that. i like the aggresive look still it might be an artistic choice.

yes, this is the correct way the scan lines should appear in the side shots. Just look at the 2004 footage and you will see they are exactly the same.

The glow in the emperor's side view was too clean. was begging for some grain
The changes between the clean and the distorted signal are way too fast. if they could be slightly slowed down it would be ideal.

The glow during the side and front shots is exactly the same because the same preset that i created was used. Don't forget you are watching a low bitrate XVID so some of the grain and noise isn't visible due to compression.
