Digital bits says the 3D version is coming this fall, but that it will be movie only (it will also be a timed exclusive with one of the HW vendors)... so 3D fans will probably be making their 4th Avatar expense in under 12 months when that hits.

Now that's how you weaponize your movie sales! I bet the 3D version will be the theatrical version, and they'll release an extended 3D version for Christmas next year.

Did anyone really go see it in theatres again? I bet a lot of people will have spent money on three of the five above, but I wonder how many in particular went to see the extended re-release. Does anyone have any numbers?
