Exactly... I think that is George Lucas and many of filmmakers issue these days... They believe the spectacle will get you emotionally invested in the film they are selling you. It can be as pretty as can be, but if you don't care about the people in the story you will never be emotionally involved. I don't think pretty pixels do that. Never have with me anyway.
