whatever.   I have to say that I am offended that you seem to be making a joke about this.    You don't really believe in this Lord Ganesh, do you?

My friendship with Lord Ganesh is not a joke,

if you say so.

you asked people to pray so I picked a deity I have frequent conversations with and one that welcomes and assists all creatures.

If you are sincerely offended by that, while it's unfortunate that my choice causes you offense I can't and shouldn't apologise.

I would not be offended if you actually believe in this Lord Ganesh.  But it just seems unlikely that someone from Scotland would be praying to a Hindu God.   You have every right to do so of course.   But I am just skeptical that you are actually serious about this and not just doing this as a joke.

Warb Scotland (like most countries) is home to many different ideas of faith.

Almost any religion or faith system you can imagine is represented here (most of them are represented in Chateau Bingowings alone).

Welcome to central Scotland :

Samye Ling

I'm not a follower of any one religion but I have my own personal views of faith and take them at least as seriously as my Catholic friends next door, or my Muslim friends over the road.

Lord Ganesh is a very helpful and kind diety who assists people who encounter barriers and guards doorways and places of entry, I talk to him almost every day at least once (usually a lot more than once).

One of my closest friends is a devotee of Dawkins and regularly visits my house and doesn't insult my spiritual decisions.

Another of my close friends is a Protestant minister and when he pops over on his motorbike we talk about everything in a friendly way including Christ.

I apologize, Bingowings.  I was prejudiced due to our past encounters.   I'm sorry.   I guess I also don't know Scotland as well as I ought.

But I am just skeptical

Is how you get around

Show respect

I was not trying to get around showing respect at all.

You are all a bunch of silly willy nillies.

The "All Dogs Go To Heaven" question has been answered TWICE:

I will trust God to know what is best as far as that stuff goes.

FYI: God has no juresdiction over these lands, I think you meant:

"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"

was all that really necessary?

If you wish to believe God has no jurisdiction here, that's fine, and you have the right to do so.     But please allow allow me the right to believe as I wish.   I meant exactly what I said when I said "I will trust God to know what is best as far as that stuff goes"

I think, this is my last post on any of this.
